On this week’s Black Doctors Speak Podcast, we are joined by Michael LeNoir, MD and James Jackson who is the CEO of the Alameda Health System. We will discuss his background growing up in Oakland, his role as a CEO of a large scale system in the Bay Area, and the role of the public hospital during the COVID-19 epidemic. With more than 30 years in healthcare administration, James Jackson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Alameda Health System in Alameda County, CA. Mr. Bedford recently participated in AAWP’s “Profiled: The Black Man,” that examined the origins of the widespread stereotypes that have permeated society and impacted the lives of Black males in America for centuries.
